I completed my Track using Cubase, am enjoying learning the software and am quite happy with the Track, have no idea what to call it though? Paul's Drum n Bass Assignment does not quite roll of the tongue. The MIDI research is done and uploaded.
Have managed to catch up a bit with the Web Design Unit having uploaded my research today as well, and am going to try and get the actual Web Page done using Dream Weaver, with the help of Robby, over the Christmas Break.

Cubase - 10.12.09 P.M
I have created two original tracks today using Cubase. I am going to try and get my self a copy of it over the weekend due to the fact that I am becoming rather addicted to it!
Over the weekend I am gonna finish the research.
01.02.10
I now have a copy of Cubase at home and spend quite a bit of time on it, I have only created two tracks so far, but they get better each time. I am currently working on a third, a sort of Trip Hop style tune, and have a very good feeling about it.

Cubase - 10.12.09
This morning I have created my first ever 'piece' of music on Cubase. I am finding that it is a brilliant bit of software and am looking forward to getting to grips with it proper!
Downloading loops from the web and inserting them into Cubase is really simple, once you have then matched the tempo of your loop to Cubase's internal metronome the rest of your loops will all match in tempo to the first, then you can start sequencing!

Cubase 09.12.09
Today we have started to use the software Cubase, first impressions are that i am really, really going to enjoy this Unit and hopefully will get allot out of it. Making music ( without being able to play a single instrument ) has been something I have always wanted to be to do.
At first glance the software appears to be quite intuitive to use and although appearances can often be deceptive I am optimistic.

Sequencing - Unit Seven - 07/12/09
Today we began the Sequencing Unit. Getting to grips with all the variety of different Hardware and Software that it is possible to use, is, at first very daunting. The first part of this Unit, which is research on exactly this variety of equipment is going to go along way towards helping me become more at ease with the unit in general.
I have been researching alot of MIDI devices including keyboards, synthesizers, samplers and some software including Cubase.
I am gaining confidence already and have a basic understanding of MIDI Studio that I did not have this morning, although I have along way to go!
